We had fun outside on the frosty ground today. It was a bit slippery and we all thought it was like an ice rink! We had to be very careful and take turns. It was very exciting
Last Friday three children went to the Down County Council Offices with Mrs Rutledge and Miss Corkin. It was the prize giving ceremony for the Wildflower Gardening Competition. We were delighted to recieve First place in the schools section! Miss Corkin worked hard to establish the garden and we aim to keep it looking lovely and to improve it with the addition of the prizes received. We will report on the installation of the prizes in a later blog.
We worked very hard in our playground garden today. We were raking leaves and loading them into wheelbarrows. Once we had put all the leaves in the compost bin we had fun jumping on them!
