We had a marvellous lucky red day today! We did red printing pictures and played in the red water. We had great fun with the "popcorn" white foam pieces instead of sand today. We played the dragon threading game with Mrs Ross. We had a party for snack at the long table. We ate prawn crackers for starters (with our chopsticks!) and then we tasted yummy stir fried noodles and carrots. Some of us even tried real chinese "Lee Kum Kee" sauce on our noodles! We listened to chinese music while we ate and we sang "Kung Hei Fat Choi" while Mrs McAllister cooked up ANOTHER batch of noodles. YUM! After lunch we had a dragon parade for Kim. She sat on the table and the dragon danced right around her while the band played and the crowd waved their flags. It was such fun and we all had a turn to do everything. At home time we said "Kung Hei Fat Choi" to Mrs Burns and she gave us a lucky red envelope with some lucky money inside. The photographs will soon be in the Photo Archive under "Special Events" or you can see them on the big screen in the hallway.
