We were all very excited to do our play (on the stage!!!) for a room full of parents and family members. It was excellent and we were all so confident, the staff were all very proud of us. HAPPY CHRISTMAS!
We had our Nativity Play dress rehearsal this morning which went very well. We welcomed some family members this afternoon to see our performance of "Singing around the Christmas tree". We had fun and enjoyed using the microphone for a proper performance. We gave our presents to our parents and received a small gift from the school.
We had great excitement today with the stage up for our performances. We all enjoyed singing with the microphone and standing on the stage! Mr McMullan came to visit us, he will be with us for 2 weeks in January as a student teacher.
We had a birthday snack for Gina today. We also all drew a picture of our Nativity play character for the invitation and programme.
We finished another beautiful secret job in school today. We are so pleased that the Christmas fairy phoned Mrs McAllister to ask her to bring "The singing kettle" DVD into school. It is really fun and has been a bit of a cold weather treat.
It is good to have everyone back at school after so many absences. We have been catching up with everyone doing all their Christmas arts and crafts. We are sure you will like your "surprises".
We have all painted a picture of the character we are going to be in the Nativity play. You can see them all up on the big notice board in the playroom. They are all REALLY good.
We had a lovely christmas dinner today. We also had "entertainments" after lunch when many children took a turn to sing a solo!
Nicole, Charlotte, Gina and Anna made christmas shaped german biscuits today. We will have them for our snack tomorrow. We loved dressing up as Santa, Mrs Santa, reindeer and elves
