School was closed today as the staff all went to the SEELB for training with the Early years Pilot Project. The training was in positive behaviour management.
We had yummy birthday cake to celebrate Anna-Rae's birthday tomorrow. We had fun bathing our dolls in the water tray (just like baby Adam!)
We painted baby clothes shapes to "design" our own baby wear. We used "light" pastel, baby colours. The little puppet theatre was out for us to act out "Goldilocks and the 3 bears". After lunch, baby Adam and his Mummy came to school. Adam is Olivia's baby brother. We took turns to help wash baby Adam. He didn't seem to mind at all. Then Mummy Linda dressed him again while we looked at the baby food Adam eats. He likes to drink milk too. Thank you baby Adam and Mummy Linda for helping us find out more about babies. (See the notice board in the hallway for a new display of all the photos.)
We had fun with the clay again today. We decorated biscuits with icing and sprinkles. We will eat them tomorrow for our snack. We had a birthday snack today for Abbie. Mc.
We washed baby clothes in the water tray and hung them up on the line. On the "dough" table today we had clay instead! It felt so smooth and slippery. We played with the three bears cottage on the small world table and heard the story before lunch.
We had a lovely day today. We are all a bit tired after our first week of long days. Everyone enjoyed their first school fish and chips meal. After lunch we had our first Movement and Dance session which was great fun and everyone listened and participated very well.
We had great messy fun dipping our fingers in paint to make patterns. In the quiet room we loved dressing up and dancing to the baby music CD. It was a lovely day so we played outside after lunch time too. We went on a wonderful adventure in the quiet room today. There were princesses and wolves and super heroes and even a wicked witch, it was very exciting. It was very wet today but we did get out for a little while. We went upstairs after lunch to watch our first educational DVD. It was "Something Special" with Mr. Tumble teaching us about the
We all enjoyed our first taste of yummy vegetable soup for our dinner today. We heard "EAT YOUR DINNER!" for our story!!!
