Today we celebrated Corey-Lee's birthday. It was sunny outside so we played with the sand, horses and wheelies.
We played in the blue water and with the blue dough. On the tables we could play with "Happy Town" or the farm. We had a biscuit and fruit for our snack.
Three groups have started this week in our staggered intake this year. All the children have been very happy and keen to explore the playroom. We have made the most of the lovely weather and each group has spent some time outside each day. We have been tidying the garden with lots of eager helpers to rake, sweep and take wheelbarrow loads to the compost heap. The playground was "out-of-bounds" for a day as we had our new slide fitted. The children have all done a great job of learning the routines involved in arriving, library books, self-registering, toiletting, snack time and changing from shoes to boots and back for outside play. Well done evryone.
