We played farm games with the students (opposites and dominoes). After lunch we enjoyed the story of King One getting the children to help him tidy up the Zero pond so that he could put 10 fish into it for it to be "The Ten Town Pond".
We are still enjoying the farmyard and heard our funny farm story again today as a puppet show. Some of us are getting very good at playing farm animal dominoes.
We enjoyed celebrating Kevin's birthday with his "Lightning McQueen" car cake. There was a surprise for Mrs Burns too who enjoyed the cake that the children had made secretly yesterday! We had a very interesting visit from Zoolab (see photos in the archive)
Mrs Burns was out today and we made her a secret, surprise cake for tomorrow. We played outside in the sunshine and saw a DVD o
We have had a few birthdays recently so were in the mood for a party in the play house today. We fifnished our farm animal paintings. Our new sound is "l" and we had 18 people with an "l" in theirname or surname! We enjoyed our farm animal rhyme time.
We were all very pleased to be back at school. We are learning about "Who lays eggs?" We looked at all the different sized eggs after lunch and then sang songs about creatures that hatch from eggs in rhyme time.
