We had a visit from Janet, The Education Officer at Down District Council. She told us a story about King Wastealot. We had to identify the litter in the story. We then put on high visibility vests and Janet gave us litter pickers. We looked for litter in our playground but we couldn't find any! We went up to the car park where there was lots more. We went to another nearby car park that had even more. We said that we NEVER throw litter on the ground, we always put it in the bin. We sang Miss Corkin's song. "Don't drop litter, put it in the bin". Janet said we were all very good and she gave us a little pom-pom man to reward us and remind us to KEEP DOWN DISTRICT TIDY.
